First Annual High Country Gear Swap

We’re excited to announce we will be hosting the 1st Annual High Country Gear Swap on Saturday, September 10th!

Gear up for the cooler days ahead and find exclusive deals on used outdoor gear, Tsuga samples sales, and discontinued products. Use the occasion to sell, trade, or donate any gently-used gear/clothing/equipment piling up in your closet.

The event kicks off on Saturday, September 10th at our shop in Boone, NC. Swing by anytime from 10 am to 4 pm to enjoy exclusive deals on pre-loved gear, food trucks, cold beer, raffles, and more!

Still want to trade but don’t have any gear? Bring canned foods for our Can-for-Can booth to trade canned goods for cold brews graciously donated by AMB. Under 21 or not into the whole beer thing? Bring those cans anyway and donate them to the Hunger and Health Coalition, a local organization helping fight food insecurity and poverty across Watauga County.

Enter the High Country Raffle before 2 pm for a chance to win gear, lift tickets, free memberships, and more. The raffle features special prizes from local businesses including Mast General, Boone Bike, Center 45, Beech Mountain Resort, the Cardinal, and other awesome Boone businesses! Raffle tickets are just $1 with unlimited entries. All proceeds raised from the raffles will be donated to two local organizations, Mountain Alliance and the Middle Fork Greenway.
